#1001 M1917A1 Ammo Can Holder or U.S. M1917 wooden ammunition box. Attaches to our #1065 and 1066 Yokes, U.S. type
pedestal yoke, Vickers cradle, or any other mount

TRIPOD
Inspired by the early
Maxim tripod, the new GMI ground tripod is intended to provide
the shooter with a rock-steady, stable, and durable platform. It
will accept any rifle-caliber Browning, Vickers gun, or 1910 and
similar Maxim gun. The legs fit into sockets at the tripod head,
and are de-mountable using push pins. The rear leg includes a
seat which is adjustable up and down the leg. Elevation
adjustment is provided by compound acme threaded shafts coupled
to a hand-wheel. With a 1919 Browning, the range of elevation is
-8 degrees to +20 degrees. Traverse is continued by sliding clamp
block on an arc which allows a total of 600 mils of movement.
Included with this tripod is our #1061 Universal Mount Adapter,
which is modified to provide clamping ability and our #1001 Can
Holder. This is a very well-made tripod mount (all steel, cast
iron, and brass) and should last for centuries. When all clamps
are tight, it is like a machine rest. Shipping weight is 65 lbs
shipped in 3 boxes.

leg braces with yoke and clevis attachments. The legs are
angled downward to provide plenty of center height clearance,
and are attached to sockets at the base. Heavy-duty steel-tube
pedestal, with U.S.
vehicle-type (short) socket w/locking hand knob. Will accept Isreali cradle and most U.S.
cradles. Approx. 54 tall, with 3 quick-detachable 36 long
